About Us

Katie Renn is the owner. At 33 years old she has 20+ years horse riding experience herself.  She started riding at 4 years old and did many children's activities including show jumping for many years. In the last 10 years she has swapped show jumping for dressage and continues to compete now on a regular basis at affiliated competitions. Katie has weekly lessons with a dressage instructor and regular lessons with top dressage trainer.



There is always a qualified first aider on site during lessons

All Instructors are DBS Checked and have been on child protection courses

All continue to train for qualifications with the BHS.

We also work with Stubbins Court training and have Megan who is working towards her level 3.

Jo Johnson

Jo has owned and ridden horses all of her life, she currently owns two spanish horses and rides daily. She has taught her 3 daughters to ride from a very young age. Jo has completed her stage two and PTT with the BHS. She used to enjoy jumping but now concentrates more on dressage.

Katie Hickman

Katie is an accredited professional coach for the BHS. She has her UKCC level 2 and is currenlty completling her level 3. To continue developing her higher level coaching skills. She is experienced at coaching all ages of riders with different abilities. She works with the rider to help them achieve their goals whether this is dressage, jumping or cross country. In her free time she enjoys showing her native ponies and competes her 3 in WHP and dressage.

Marie Sladen

Marie is a BHS accreditted coah and has lots expereicne teaching all abilites. She also has an equine science degree in sports horse managment. Marie currenlty has a coloured horse which she brought as a 4 year old and now does dressage and eventing on. Marie also spends time with her daughter on her pony out competing. Marie takes great pride in encouraging and supporting riders to achieve their goals.

Hannah Robinson

Hannah is a BHS qualified instructor who has taught in various riding schools, coaching a range of abilitiesin group and private lessins. She is a passionateand enthusiastic coach that helps her riders achieve their personal gaols.. Hannah has a strong interest in dressage and jumpong and has regular lessons herself. Hannah is keen to take her next set of exams to develp her higher level of coaching.
